Best Breakfast Sandwiches in Pittsburgh

I had the absolute pleasure of being on KDKA's Talk Pittsburgh with Heather Abraham this week to show off some of my favorite breakfast sandwiches. It was a challenge to only choose a select few, but I narrowed it down to these 5:

Dagny's Eatery - classic bacon, egg, and cheese croissant

A simple, yet delicious breakfast sandwich that packs in all of the flavor. Dagny doesn't use normal bacon for this one; she uses a garlic bacon that'll knock your socks off. I like to add sun-dried tomato aioli to add a little extra flavor.

Oak Hill Post - classic sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit

Don't sleep on these biscuits. They're soft. They're fluffy. They're everything you need in life. This sandwich is one of a kind. You will alos need to grab a breakfast burrito while you are there.

Curbside Coffeehouse - speecy spicy croissant sandwich

This is a new find for me! I finally checked out Curbside's food options, and man, they're fantastic. The first thing I tried was the speecy spicy, which is not only fun to say, but an absolute gem of a sandwich. I'm not sure how they pack so much flavoe in there, but that spicy sauce adds a nice touch for sure.

Lola's Eatery - the hangover cure

Ohhh Lola's, one of my favorite places in Pittsburgh. The hangover cure is a customizable breakfast sandwich, so you can make it as extravagant as you'd like. You can even add a hash brown to it if you are feeling daring.

Lola's Eatery - the mcsteamy

Available Thursdays only. Their version of a McGriddle...need I say more?
